Britannia official transport providers for Reminisce Festival 2023

Hello,

Once again we are pleased to announce that we are the chosen transport provider for the St Helens Reminisce Festival. We were approached by the organisers at the Festival and were asked to help support and provide transport for the people going to and from the event, so for this we want our services to match the standards of the event. We are the only taxi firm that is allowed to pick up and drop off on the festival grounds, the event expects around 20,000 participants and for this the event will have some coaches but these are few in numbers and seats are limited.

The pick up and drop off will work the exact same way as when we previously provided transport in 2022. To pick up and drop off at the event you need to drive on The Score from Sherdley Road over the St Helens Linkway, follow the road and you will you reach the pickup and drop off point. To leave you follow The Score until you reach Marshalls Cross Road and go from there (please see map attached). 

Some things to note:

• Door signs need to be always clearly visible or you may be refused entry by the security.

• There will be a queuing system at the pickup point manned with Britannia staff and security to help organiae the queue. (Taxi Licensing will also be in attendance.)

• DO NOT go into the pick up point without a booking on your PDA/phone.

• Masks will be offered to all passengers, although it is not compulsory at the event.

• There will be two lanes for queuing at the event, one for 4 seater vehicles and one for 5/6/7/8 seaters. The 4 seater will be the most left hand lane, closest to the Britannia cabin and all other vehicle types will be on the right.

• Yes, there will be an increased tariff for pickups only at the event, which you can see below.
