SETTLE

We have tried our best to listen and respond to feedback from you, our drivers, over the past 14 months, and all drivers have seen highly reduced system access (settle) and vehicle prices since March 2020. We started the initial period of the coronavirus with free settle and since the beginning of April 2020 have maintained discounted rates for a total of 14 months.

In the past month we are excited to announce that our weekly booking numbers have increased by more than 200%. The booking numbers have grown significantly and we now are, gratefully, back to our regular booking figures before the coronavirus pandemic hit. This is, as this post is written before the relaxation of rules within England on Monday 17th May. We are eager to see our numbers hopefully increase further and beyond and see our loyal customer base return in full force, as life returns back to normal. In the past months, we have also dedicated our business model to obtaining high profile corporate account work, planning our way forward knowing account work gives a solid booking base, even during a global pandemic. We have increased our NWAS account by over 1,000 bookings per week over the past month and as a business we will continue to try and grow this account base and support you as you have supported us over the past year. Not only this but the amount of jobs completed on average by a driver has increased by 30% in the past month. The biggest increase we have had in this metric since our data recording began.

With all of these factors, of increased booking numbers, increased unique customers, and increased account work, we have made the decision to finally revert to pre-coronavirus settle pricing*. As of May 17th 2021 Pricing for all full settle will increased by £10 on the current amount that you pay. (Full Settle does not included Area Settle Scheme Discount. Now Available at £25 per week, see here for more details).

The earnings % is staying at 25% of the earnings – to work out your earning cap you need to times the settle price you pay by 4 and that would give you your earnings cap.
EG. £90.00 settle = (90 X 4 = 360) meaning 25% earnings cap for £90 settle would be £360.00. Meaning if you earn under £360 you would only pay 25% opposed to full settle price.

(As always we will monitor our settle pricing based on the number of customer bookings made on a weekly basis, and also our key indicator is the average amount of jobs per driver per week, but all being well and no more lockdowns or restriction changes implemented by the government these will be the final changes but should there be changes to restriction lifts we will review the pricing as and when needed.)

CAR HIRE

Prices for Settle Car Hire will also be changing as of Monday 17th May 2021. The prices are listed in the table below:

Currently Price - £160.00

17.5.21 - £170.00

24.5.21 - £170.00

31.5.21 - £170.00

3.6.21 - £175.00

As above all being well and no more lockdowns or restriction changes implemented by the government these will be the final changes but should there be changes to restriction lifts we will review the pricing as and when needed.)

FURTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

During the past months we have seen a significant drop in completion ratings. A completion rating is the amount of bookings made to the amount of completed bookings. Meaning a reduction in completion rates leads to more customers not getting the services they had requested. We have seen this take a significant increase due to the vast influx of customers back onto our system in relation to drivers. At present we are currently finding difficulties in certain times to cover work, due to the high demand and the slow return of drivers to the industry after the height of the pandemic. Below is a table based around the quantity of jobs booked during periods. To help you reach your earning potential, and work when there are customer, this graph will help you understand when we are in demand, and when you can earn the most.
