Cashless Journeys are in demand, over the past 3 years we have seen contactless payments increase from 0% to 38% of all transactions. Now we’re making it even easier for you. From the 7th February 2022. we are making Airpay our singular use digital payment system.
Airpay provides safe and secure mobile transactions, enabling quick, cashless Taxi payments. Allowing you to Pay using the SMS sent to your phone.
Quick Cashless Payments - No need to go to the cash machine during rides, adding waiting time and distance onto your journey.
1. Book - Book your preferred local taxi or choose from a national network of taxi fleets offering the Airpay service.
2. Open - Receive and open your unique Airpay payment link via SMS.
3. Track - Click on Track Driver and see how close the taxi is to your pick up point.
4. Pay - Pay for your journey in advance, on-route or arrival with your phone by Debit, Credit, Google Pay or Apple Pay.
4. Ride - Airpay will pre-authorise your estimated journey cost.
5. Arrive - When you reach your destination, Airpay captures the final journey cost and processes your transaction.
